“ Another successful ramen adventure! Haruki Japanese Bistro in Walnut Grove is an absolute gem. The ramen was excellent — rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and beautifully balanced toppings. We also tried the chicken karaage, and it was deep-fried to perfection — crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. Everything was full of flavour and made with care. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic Japanese comfort food. Can't wait to go back! ”
“ This place has become my new go-to spot. The food has never disappointed — everything is super delicious. Most importantly, the service is on another level. Both the owner and the server are incredibly attentive and friendly. I couldn't recommend it more. ”
“ Haruki was absolutely amazing! It’s a hidden gem in Langley near Carvolth station! The food, atmosphere and customer service were outstanding! Shout out to Annie who was in charge of our table Please try their Japanese Hamburg steak! I cannot believe it’s only $16 in this economy. Other foods were fantastic as well. I will definitely come back:) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! ”
“ Amazingly great!! Chicken karaage batter was super light and crispy, the seasoning was just right on point too. Spicy tonkotsu ramen was a bit Korean infused rather than traditional, which made this ramen more special. I can’t wait to try other foods too ”
“ Went to Haruki for lunch a few days ago. I ordered the hamburg steak (comes with rice and salad), and the tuna tataki. The hamburg steak really hit the spot - good sized patty, nice gravy, great price. The tuna tataki was a bit pricey but it turned out that the portion was huge - like a dish meant for 3-4 people as a side/appy. It was really good. I really enjoyed my meal there and am excited to take my family there for dinner. ”
“ I absolutely love this restaurant! It’s a 10/10 experience. The atmosphere is super cozy and warm, with great music playing in the background. The staff and chef are incredibly friendly and passionate about their work. You can really feel the love and care they put into every dish. The food was fantastic! We started with the chicken karaage with the gochujang dipping sauce. It was absolutely incredible - crispy, clean, and seasoned perfectly. The gochujang dipping sauce had a nice kick, not too sweet but also not too spicy. The braised pork belly was also amazing - it felt like a modern take on bossam. I loved the raw onions, cucumber, and citrus vinaigrette on top. And for dessert, we shared the sesame ice cream. It had a great flavour and wasn’t too sweet. I’m so glad this restaurant is in our neighbourhood! It’s definitely worth checking out. ”
“ Every single dish was absolutely delicious and you can really taste the chef’s care in every bite. Honestly, this was the best restaurant I’ve tried in Canada so far!!! The fried dishes were perfectly crispylike the definition of how frying should be done, almost like it was made by a master. The Hamburg steak which I heard is handmade by the owner, was incredibly tender and even better than the one I had at a famous spot in Osaka It wasn’t salty at all just perfectly seasoned. The sushi was so fresh that even someone trying sushi for the first time would enjoy it!!! And you absolutely have to try the black sesame ice cream to finish it’s a must!! On top of the amazing food the atmosphere is great, the place is spotless and the service was perfect This place is 100% worth the trip out to Langley. I can’t recommend it enough ”
